I’m Bryan Wirth, the Operations and Project Manager at Coeur d’Alene Builders Group. My role is to ensure every project is executed with precision, but my appreciation for quality work began long before I managed job sites.
My foundation in construction was built at home, working alongside my father. In my early teens, I started helping him build a deck and a shed. What started as simple projects eventually turned into renovating our entire house. It was during those years, working with my dad, that I learned the true meaning of precise, old-school craftsmanship. I learned that cutting corners wasn’t an option and that quality takes patience.
Despite that early love for building, I initially took a different path. I went to college for Hydraulic Engineering and spent several years working on oil rigs. That environment was intense and unforgiving. It taught me rigid structure, high-stakes management, and the grit required to "get it done" regardless of the obstacles. However, the lifestyle required long periods away from my kids. I realized I wanted something more—I wanted to be present for my family while doing work I was passionate about.
That realization brought me back to the industry. I teamed up with a friend to launch a general contracting company, where I was able to apply that engineering discipline to residential construction. We took on a wide variety of projects, refining my skills on everything from extravagant decks, large barns, and patios to intricate rock walls. We also specialized in the fine details, handling high-end kitchen and bathroom finishes and whole-home remodels.
Eventually, my path crossed with Coeur d'Alene Builders Group while I was working as a subcontractor. They recognized my eye for detail and diverse knowledge base, and I was brought on board to lead Operations and Project Management. Today, I use my background in engineering and my history in the trades to ensure that every project we touch meets our top-tier standards for quality and execution.
